The Abel Tasman Coastal Track is quite a nice track.  There certainly are other forests in NZ as nice as those found on the track, but what really shines is the combination the beaches, forests, and ocean.  This picture pretty much sums up the area.

The track descends to the beach shortly after the hill upon which this picture was taken.  The track follows the beach to the small valley in the middle of the picture and continues on up into the hills before descending down to the Awaroa hut.  I never tired of being on the ocean.
