On the way from Hamilton from the Coromandel Peninsula, you pass through the town of Tirau.  I didn't know that this was the Promised Land.  I'm always up for a picture of something big or goofy.  If it's big and goofy, that's even better!  I love these sort of pictures.

There is an area called the Wisconsin Dells that is the Tacky Tourism Capital of the Midwestern part of the U.S.  This is a terrible area of wall-to-wall tourist traps and "big things."  When the people from Wisconsin were looking at my pictures, they would often ask, "What's this picture from the Dells doing in here?"  However, given the subject matter of the building, there is no doubt that this is from NZ.
