Doubtful Sound is every bit as spectacular as Milford Sound, but due to its inaccesssability, relatively few people visit there.  This is a view that we had up the sound.  When I started my trip, I never imagined that the sounds would be quite as striking as they were and kayaking is the best way to see them.

The only bad thing about kayaking was that we had double kayaks and I had a partner.  There was absolutely nothing wrong her, just that we could never quite get our paddling coordinated and we finally gave up and said, "Whatever."
