This is my favorite picture of the whole trip of me alone.  I don't know why, I just like it.  This was taken at the end of the first day of the Routeburn Track.  I followed the track along the river and then up the valley walls.  I ended the day at the Routeburn Falls Hut (so named for, what else, the nearby Routeburn Falls).  I still get a kick out of this picture as it brings me back to a beautiful place.
