This is a bush robin, though it isn't the one that I encountered in Lewis Pass.  I was having so much fun with my little friend that I wasn't able to get a picture as my camera wasn't easily accessible, so I had to make do with memories.  This picture was taken several months later.  These aren't the boots on which the robin perched, rather from someone you will meet later.  I remember the bush robin well and when I think back to him, I smile.
