One of the most impressive things in NZ are the ferns.  The ferns that I'm used to seeing are no more than 1/2 meter tall and a meter wide.  Not so in NZ!  Some of them get to be 20 meters tall.  I never got tired of seeing them.  Corinne is a tall woman and still she is dwarfed by this fern.
