This is Jan and I in the Bay of Islands.  It was a beautiful place with beautiful weather.  We are just above Cook's Cove on this island.  This is the location where Captain Cook first dropped anchor in 1769.  There is a small lagoon which is separated from the cove by a beach.  Jan and I kayaked into the lagoon, which can be reached from this side of the island through a narrow opening in the rocks, just above Jan's head in the picture.
